Rev. Solomon Dawer was born on the 28 August, 1963 to the family of Dawer Dabang who were pagans in Ampang West District of Mangu Local Government Council.

He was converted to the Lord in the year 1977 and got baptized on the 28 September, 1978.

He had his primary education from 1976-1981 and proceeded to secondary school in BSS Gindiri in 1981 – 1986. He got his Diploma in Theology at Gindiri Theological College (GTC) from 1988-1992.

He went for his first Degree at the Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) Mkar, Gboko from 1997 – 2001 and in the same institution he got his Masters Degree at RTS Mkar Gboko from 2011 – 2013.

He married his wife, Mrs. Dorcas, of the family of Yoila Datwa, on the 21 December, 1991 and God has blessed their marriage with three children namely Tapdyen Solomon, Lapshiinaan Solomon and Naansel Solomon. They also have three adopted children: Sekyen Yohanna, Plangnaan Solomon and Panshak Solomon.

His working experiences include: Employed with COCIN RCC Panyam on 2, September, 1992, taught in CBS Panyam 1992 – 1997, LCC Dungfar 1998 – 2000, LCC Panyam 2001 – 2002, LCC Pwaskop 2003 – 2005 RCC Pushit, LCC Tul 2006 – 2008, LCC Miles 2009 – 2011, LCC Jabi 2012 – 2013 RCC Abuja, LCC Woro 2014 to 2015 RCC Kainji and now COCIN Tanzania.

He has held various positions in the church: Choir master COCIN Perka, Assistant Secretary RCC Panyam, Secretary RCC Panyam, Assistant Secretary RCC Pushit, Vice Chairman RCC Pushit, Secretary New Life for All Mangu LGC, Chairman New Life for All Mangu LGC, Assistant Secretary RCC Abuja and Secretary RCC Kainji.
