Rev. Jerry Audu was born to the family of Mr. Audu Andrew Ngyakwar and his wife Mrs. Amuna Andrew on the 12th February, 1956 in a village called Dwam in Demsa Local Government of Adamawa State. He had his Primary School in Dwam from 1963 – 1969. He also had his Secondary School Education at Government Secondary School Mubi from 1971 – 1975.

He was employed as a Postal Officer with the Posts and Telecommunications (P&T) on the 1st November, 1975 and he rose to the rank of a Senior Officer as Head Post Master II before he was retired from service on the 1st November, 1997.

Rev. Jerry Audu was baptized in 1967 but after his baptism he backslided until 1977 when he was born again. Before he joined the pastoral ministry, he served in various capacities as a choir master, Church Elder and Church secretary just to mention a few. He was the church secretary at COCIN LCC Gamboru Maiduguri, Borno State where he heard the call into pastoral ministry in 2000.

Rev. Jerry Audu obtained his Diploma in Public Administration in 1992 – 1995 and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration in 1997 – 1999 both at the University of Maiduguri. He had his Masters of Divinity at Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) Bukuru from 2001 – 2004. He started his pastoral work as an Assistant Pastor in COCIN LC Gamboru Maiduguri, Borno State on the 15th of June 2004 and later as Associate Pastor. He was ordained in October, 2006.

He was appointed as the GCC Officer of Borno in 2005 – 2009. He was Associate Pastor COCIN LCC Gwange 2007 – 2009. He was a Board Member of CCDP Molai 2005 – 2009 and Telta Memorial Secondary School from 2012 – 2015. He was transferred to COCIN LCC Kirikasama as the Leading Pastor from 2010 -2015. He was elected as the RCC Secretary from 2012 – 2015. He was elected as the Assistant Secretary PCC Borno 2014 – 2015 and now he is the Leading Reverend of COCIN Kenya with effect from 1st March, 2015.

Rev. Jerry Audu got married on 21st April, 1984 to Mrs. Catherine Jerry. The marriage is blessed with four children among which are Dr. Panam Jerry, Mr. Bwalami Jerry, Mrs. Sarah Pwanopito and Miss. Leah Jerry.
